FKA has just completed a new Facilities Masterplan for Essex County College.

The existing facilities on three campuses were studied in detail to identify needed facility improvements and upgrades.  The study encompassed over 750,000 s.f. of space at the Newark, West Essex and Police Academy campuses.

FKA also studied population trends and projections as well as ways to add space to the Newark campus.  The potential campus expansion areas included additions over the existing megastructure roofs as well as four possible new buildings totaling over 135,000 square feet.
