This project consists of the installation of drainage improvements and limited paving at the Morris Hills High School Academy Building.

Plans may NOT be picked up in person. Electronic versions of the plans and specifications may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 CERTIFIED CHECK, CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.
All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to Joann Gilman Auricchio, Business Administrator, with the name of the project, “Morris Hills High School Academy Drainage Improvements Project” plainly marked on the front of the envelope.
The bid opening process will commence at the advertised date and time located at the Morris Hills Regional District Board Offices, located within Morris Knolls HS, 48 Knoll Drive, Rockaway, New Jersey 07866.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to Morris Hills Regional District Board of Education or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00.
Statement of Ownership Requirement: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, Bidders shall submit a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all persons and entities that own ten percent or more of its stock or interest of any type at all levels of ownership.
A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire/Certification also must be submitted with the bid. The bid package will also include other documents that must be completed and returned with the bid. Failure to comply with Instructions to Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms, may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities.
The Morris Hills Regional District Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Morris Hills Regional District Board of Education.
